What Skovell Photo is all about.
I have always taken my digital photography seriously, improving my skills and education when this would be
beneficial to my advertising, commercial and portraiture clients.

I get a buzz in helping small business owners, in many different industries, to grow their business.
As a professional photographer and artist, I have been a long standing member of the A.I.P.P. and was also on the board of the Victorian A.I.P.P. council.
As part of my obligation to be at the forefront of creative digital imaging I actively participate in all professional
competitions, at present I enjoy being one of the most successful members in Victoria and currently
hold 11 gold and silver A.I.P.P. state and national awards.
Understandably, competition is fierce and intense, all judging being performed by equally skilled
contemporaries which makes these acheivements even more remarkable. All of the above is a true indicator
of contemporary styles and methods and a maintainer of the highest levels of photographic skills.
International awards are next, and proving to be very challenging indeed!
Naturally my customers get the benefit of this involvement with every Skovell Digital Photography portrait and
album package they order.
In September 2010 our new Studio 3 will open in Elsternwick. In the back of 402 Glenhuntly Road (Red Cross shop)
this will be a state of the art photo studio specifically for portrait and product photographic assignments.
In keeping with my interest in teaching, Skovell photography will be conducting photography 101, photoshop 101 and camera craft classes in 2011.
